Kalyan’s path to the stage is as unique as his performances.
Before committing to the arts full-time, he spent over a decade climbing the corporate ladder, notably serving as a Regional Head for an American manufacturing giant (OEM) across the Indian sub-continent. This corporate background gives him an unparalleled edge, allowing him to understand high-stakes corporate dynamics, engage senior leadership, and design experiences that truly resonate with professional audiences.
As a musician with two decades of songwriting and guitar experience, Kalyan commands the stage as the frontman and guitarist for the progressive rock band Geometry Box, & has played iconic venues like Hard Rock Cafe and Fandom.
As a solo acoustic artist, his performances are celebrated for their incredible versatility. Seamlessly jumping between genres and languages, his sets weave together classic rock anthems from bands like Coldplay and Metallica with rich, soul-stirring melodies in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
When the music slows, the magic begins. Kalyan is a master of intricate, close-up card magic, relying on sleight-of-hand and psychology rather than stage props. He seamlessly integrates this illusion work with live acoustic music to pioneer "The Magic & Music Experience"—a ticketed show that he has performed in Bangalore, Mysore, Chennai & Nepal.
